Though Brussels has been likened to a city of Northern Europe without the efficiency and cleanliness and a city of Southern Europe without the good weather and charm, David and I are cheerfully optimistic that our new home city will pleasantly surprise.
We leave soon and take up residence there on September 1st (albeit in a temporary dwelling). This Blog will serve as one mode of communication between us and all of you across the globe who are interested in following our adventures as our family sprouts in Brussels.
